The Meyer threw to the US shipping company Celebrity Cruises yesterday in the Netherlands Eemshaven symbolically the key for the Celebrity Equinox transferred.
Afterwards the second new building of the Solstice class is broken open to a two-night before premiere trip after Southampton. The solemn baptism takes place on 29 July. On 31 July the Celebrity Equinox puts down then to the official maiden voyage and crosses eight nights by the Norwegian fjord landscape.
Among the highlights of the Celebrity Equinox as among other things on their sister ship Solstice rank a two thousand square meters large genuine lawn on the external deck, a Glasbläser workshop furnished in co-operation with the Corning museum OF Glass and the cab category Aqua Class, which is particularly to the needs of wellness oriented guests cut.
