Carnival Cruise Lines said Thursday it will re-build the pool areas on eight of its older vessels as part of a $250 million remodeling. It will add children’s water parks and an adults-only deck area called Serenity. The first ships to get the new features will be Inspiration and Imagination, which will get the pools in drydock overhauls scheduled for this fall, Carnival said.
