STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — After the weeks of ice crunching underfoot, dismally leafless trees and the wicked cold of a New York winter, the Bahamas and Bermuda cruise and vacation for 19 family members that Joanne Pasquale planned for early July was looking better and better.
